Associate member

Would you like to stay informed about the ins and outs of (Belgian) Egyptology and Papyrology? Would you like to support students and early-career researchers in their scientific research?
You can become an associate member of the Queen Elisabeth Egyptological Association (AERE-EGKE) and support not only the running of our Association, but also numerous projects within Belgian Egyptology and Papyrology.
Associate membership is open to anyone with an interest in Egyptology and Papyrology; no academic affiliation is required.

The annual membership fee is €20.
The membership is free for students enrolled at a University.

    Full Member

    Those who wish to participate in the governance of the Association and contribute to programmes supporting research and the dissemination of results and knowledge can become full members by sending a request to the Chair of the Board of Directors, stating their reasons for joining. Full members are elected by the General Assembly on the recommendation of the Board of Directors. They undertake to pay an annual membership fee set by the General Assembly (currently €20 per year). They enjoy all the benefits granted to associate members.
